There are ways in which a couple can increase their chances of conceiving a baby boy and in this article we look at one way of how to conceive a boy. It is important that if the couple want the sperm which contains the male gene reaches the egg first to fertilize it they need to know exactly when the woman is ovulating. The best way of being able to determine when a woman is ovulating is by using a prediction kit.
More than ever today ovulation prediction kits are proving popular with couples who want to know exactly when the woman is ovulating. The big advantage to using an OPK (ovulation prediction kit) is that it will tell them when the woman is going to start ovulating as it is able to detect increased amounts of Luteinizing Hormone being produced in the woman’s uterus. Generally this occurs 36 hours before actual egg ovulation happens.
There are two kits which can now be used for predicting when a woman is about to start ovulating today. There is either the test strip device or the midstream device, which although they work in the same way, need to be used differently. The test stream method needs the woman to urinate into a container and then the device is dipped into this for several seconds. Whereas with the midstream method the device needs to be held below the vagina and the urine is allowed to stream on to it when the woman goes to the toilet. Generally with this second method you have to wait around 5 minutes before a result is provided.
But there are other things you can do that will help you know when ovulation is taking place when you decide to use an ovulation prediction kit. Below we offer a few tips that may be useful if you choose to use an ovulation kit in order to when you when trying to conceive a boy.
Tip 1 – In order for you to get a better idea of when to use the ovulation prediction kit is to have a chart on which the woman’s body basal temperature can be recorded. Using such charts a couple is able to look back and see when normally the woman’s period of ovulating happens.
Tip 2 – Even though you may think it isn’t worth the effort you need to be testing yourself more than once each day. Instead it is best to test using the ovulation prediction kit twice each day. This way you are increasing your chances of identifying when the increase in Luteinizing Hormone in the uterus is taking place.
Tip 3 – It is important that the tests be carried out at the same time each day and you do not necessarily have to do it in the morning. It can be done at any time just as long as you do it at the same time each day following the first test carried out. By keeping to these set times for testing then the couple are far less likely to miss the period of time when the amounts of Luteinizing Hormone being produced rises.
Tip 4 – It is crucial that the ovulation prediction kit should be used until the level of Luteinizing Hormone in the uterus shows a marked difference. As soon as this difference has been identified then in order to increase the chances of the couple being able to conceive a boy they should make love within 36 hours of this event occurring.

If you want to conceive a boy so you have someone to teach baseball and football to, or if you just want to conceive a boy for your husband?s sake, below are a few suggestions that you may like to keep in mind.
All men have in their bodies the sex cells known as the X and Y chromosomes. In order for you to be able to conceive a boy it is the Y chromosome that you need to fertilize the egg. Which does sound simple? But there are certain factors that need to be taken into consideration and which can affect the outcome.
The Y chromosome is a fast little swimmer. So if you consider that these little buggers swim fast, these are usually the ones that will reach the egg first. However, there is another thing to consider and these sperm are not able to survive for long in an acidic Ph of a woman?s vagina.
Many couples trying to make a bay will arrange to have sex over a number of days in the hope that on one of these days they can create the little boy that both their hearts die. I guess there is nothing wrong with using this method as long as the couples are not too bothered about what their baby is going to be. Also what they need to understand is the sperm is going to released several days before the woman ovulates and so those are carrying the Y chromosome will be weak and will probably die before the egg has even been released.
If you want to conceive a boy, a man is going to have to try his hardest to ensure that their sperm is released on the same day that the woman ovulates. You can now buy an ovulation prediction kit to help you with this. The most accurate of these kits is the ones that you use by testing your saliva. This is extremely important because if you are off just by a day or two, then you are most likely to have a girl.
Before conceiving, it is vital that you should also know the Ph of your vagina. If you happen to have an acidic vagina, as this is not conducive to male sperm. In order to conceive a little boy, the woman?s vaginal tract needs to contain more alkaline. You can change the acidity of your vagina by douching and/or through eating and avoiding certain foods. These douches can be easily made at home so you will be able to save yourself a lot of money.
Now you have to add another piece to the mix and that is positioning. If you want to conceive a little boy, then you should go with a sexual intercourse position that will place the sperm as close to the woman’s cervix as possible. This will often mean much deeper penetration for most couples. It would also be wise for the woman not to obtain an orgasm as this will help in their quest to have a son. I am sure that once you have delivered your baby, in the end, it will not matter what you have as long as your bundle of joy is healthy and has all of its fingers and toes!
